Report: Vicarious Visions to lose name, fully merge with Blizzard Entertainment

Vicarious Visions will exist losing its name and possibly be fully branded as part of Blizzard Entertainment, according to a report from Polygon. The developer's employees were reportedly told on Midweek that the studio proper noun would exist dropped. While a new name was non given, some employees speculate that information technology could be Blizzard Albany.

Vicarious Visions was previously moved from nether the Activision fly of the company to Blizzard Entertainment, with the studio's first project being to assistance on Diablo ii: Resurrected.
